Sony's PlayStation Event September 7th - Roundup

- PS4 Slim announced right off the bat. Will be the standard moving forward. Packs the same components as the original.
- $299!
- It will be in most markets by September 15th.
- Segway into PS4 Neo probably...
- Confirmed! It will be called the PS4 Pro. Will be for gamers with 4K set ups.
- GPU power is doubled. Clockrate of CPU is boosted. 1TB hard drive. Also enhances quality on HDTVs in addition to 4K sets.
- Spiderman looks awesome in 4K. So does Deus Ex.
- Honestly they're just showing a lot of examples of HDR and 4K and how much of an improvement they are compared to conventional sets.
- There is a moderate, but noticeable difference between the PS4 and PS4 Pro when it comes to standard HDTVs.
- The PSVR will look crisper on the PS4 Pro. Developers will be able to make them much crisper it appears.
- Horizon; Zero Dawn looks stunning on a PS4 Pro.
- The new CoDs will support 4K.
- As will the new Mass Effect.
- A new Netflix app will be available with the PS4 Pro.
- Every PS4 console will be HDR capable with a firmware update!
- PS4 Pro will cost $399 and be available on November 10th.
