That PSP one makes a lot of sense. There aren't a lot of games, and many that there are that have reviews on big sites are good titles. With a smaller amount of titles, every game that receives a good average score makes a big difference.

The PS3 also didn't do substantially better, so nobody bitch. It just did the best by a handful of games based upon the reviews from all the sites that contributed their scores.

Those numbers are extremely relative. A masterpiece for one can be a turd for someone else - the actual value of a given console's library is subjective and to be assessed on your own. Everyone's a critic - you don't need Metacritic or anybody else to tell you what you like.

And before you say: "But the majoritaaaah..." consider that the "majoritaaaah" praises generic games.

The Xbox360 and PS3 have very similar Meta scores (Actually they all do since there is only a 7.3 Meta score difference)
Oh and just so everyone knows, you can do anything with numbers to your advantage.

2011 was a bad year for Wii owners, not many games were released, and the article you linked to only dealt with 2011.
What you also missed out was that Ocarina of Time 3D was the highest critic rated exclusive this year and Skyward Sword the highest rated console exclusive game.
And for a 2nd year running the highest rated console exclusive has been a Wii game.

Next year might be very bleak for exclusives across all consoles with the next generation is just around the corner.
That being said I am looking forward to some current gen titles next year, just need to work through my collection first.
