Sony drops PSPgo price to $199

nope dont want anything to do with sony ever again, ps3 sucks, the only 2 good systems ever were the ps1 and ps2, great games that were cheap

If they're still keeping the like "5 free games" thing it may be worth it. Seeing PSP bundles with one game, memory stick, and a PSP 3000 go for the same price paying $200 for a Go with 5 games and all that internal storage ain't too bad.

But seeing as I still have a PSP 1000 and can just pirate games on it I don't think I'll be jumping on this one anytime soon.

Now is that JUST because it's a Go or because you think it's REALLY that bad? I mean it's a flawed device since PSN sucks (I mean if they made it like Steam it'd be better) but for $100 you'd still get a pretty slick device and you wouldn't need to lug around a bunch of UMDs.

I am not too keen on having to rebuy all my games (some of which aren't even on the playstation store) just so I can have a sleeker looking psp, unless this has changed and we can somehow enter a code to download them for free (or something along those lines), otherwise I'd rather buy a second DSi, or 3000 which can play all my old games fine.

So yeah, it is that bad, the design is not something I am too keen on either.

This is the main complaint.

With as long as the 1000/2000/3000 series has been out, there's tons of people with UMD games, and there's NO way to play them on the Go other than re-buying them. In addition to that, there are titles that have been released on UMD that have NOT been released on the PSN, so there's some games that don't even play on a Go AT ALL, period.

They had to lower the price of the Go by FIFTY DOLLARS to make it MATCH the price of a 3000 with a 16GB memory stick, and it still does LESS, considering you can buy games from the PSN store on any PSP, including the original 1000.

No PSP owner who uses it for games wants a Go.
