SEGA have announced Sonic Mania Adventures. A series of animated shorts in collaboration Tyson Hesse (art director for the opening animation of Sonic Mania) featuring Sonic, Tails & Knuckles as well as a slew of other classic characters.

The silent shorts will pay faithful homage to the classic Sonic timeline and feature a score by Tee Lopes.
