Never would've expected this to go "special edition", let alone in these two countries.
I can understand Australia, but why Spain?
I never bother uploading my own images for practically anything. Simply can't be assed. Look at the pictures for 100% of my reviews.
Here's the pic:
Hmm....makes you think they may have nailed down the slowdown issues mentioned in that one article if they are making "Special Editions" already. Must have turned out well.
Check this link for new screenshots. There is some debate that they MAY just be mock-ups though.
The Good ol' 2d sonic runners?
It's Sonic 1-3 and Sonic and Knuckles.
any pics of the bonuses??
Sounds awesome. I hope they actual do I good job with this. Not like Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis on GBA. If they get all the games running perfectly with some nice use of the second screen then I'll be in heaven.
Check Rayder's screens for apparent second screen use. Looks like it will DEFINITELY be better than Sonic Genesis, but there was still some instances of slowdown in a recent impression by Nintendo World Report. If the screens aren't mockups, they also tremendously scaled down the graphics, the levels and sprites look squished. Some things even appear discolored, like the rings in Marble Zone (Sonic 1).
I'm still going to try it out. I'll be giving some screenshots of the final game via emulator and even some impressions of what is or isn't right. I have a very sharp eye for detail.
Oh I didn't know the classic collection was already being released on March. FYI It includes 4 games:
I'm also thinking the O ring is either some sweatband or one of those livestrong type arm bracelets.
"O-Ring" sounds like a sex toy. Just saying.
An O-ring is a thin cardboard sleeve that slides over the box, also often used for deluxe edition dvds.
I hope you can play Sonic 3 + Sonic and Knuckles together (Does sonic and knuckles alone include The "Doomsday" level ?).
this is great, old classic sonic on the go.
Well, an early screen had Sonic and Knuckles together, but we're not sure how real that screen was. Sonic was the only one who could play in Doomsday Zone, Tails and Knuckles could not. But Knuckles had his own different final boss.
