Anyway seems like developer flash carts rather than future repro fodder. 3 of them going for $1000 USD on the tat merchant known as ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/352697152672 has the listing. I did save it in case it gets taken down.

Error messages appear in a retail Switch, though given things were signed differently for dev/demo systems for the 3ds that is hardly surprising.

Edit. Might as well have the images from the listing. The error screen had no codes or anything interesting.

i'm not 100% sure but right there where it states 'Property of nintendo' I'm almost sure you're not allowed to sell these

Would also like to chime in and say someone may have already bought one in a separate listing from the same seller:

Alt account for various reasons, but the guy had a listing for just one cart for $350. I bought it. I shall try and archive the contents when it comes in.

Will be interesting to see if they find anything on it.
If not it's still a neat commodity.
