Which games are the ones with the comments?

That's one of the issues with the current list, finding out the culprit isn't as easy as just clicking a "History" link.

i think it should be changed the way it works. IT asks you to enter your name. People will abuse this and just write a name it does not match thier username. it will get spammed all over the place

0925 - Bomberman Story, across several carts. Just an observation, but is ticking the "works / doesn't work" boxes supposed to change the background colour on the grid? Because on that page all of the boxes appear white, regardless of what settings they've been given

by the way, since this thread is getting all the attention..

can I suggest that the save-type be made as a poll option, that can only be modified by registered users who will be tracked for their choices? i.e. A person chooses eeprom 64k, then his name will go under the dropdown list for that option etc. Or assign a universal section for it in the compat listings, independent of card type

also, the compatibility chart is a little unwieldy at the moment....the buttons for the different carts are so small and packed so close together, once you click the wrong button you will get a big mess. Why not have the different carts under a single dropdown list? (even better, have checkbox options for different users that only want to see the charts for one or two brands of cards

Is there a way to make it where you have to register to edit the list? Make it where anyone can look at the info, but you must register (maybe connect it with the forum registration or something) to be able to add to it.

That way you could have pointers as to who is doing that stuff and can ban them accordingly.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
