I am very new to anything to do with flashcards or anything of the such. I've downloaded some roms. Some of them come with an SFV file.. It's a 1KB file.. I think it's a save file.. So can I just delete this extra file? I don't have my M3 Real yet, but it's on it's way. I was just wondering. Sorry for my lack of knowledge in this area.

Wow it's something completely different than what I thought.. So.. are the games that had this file playable without it... I sort of deleted the SFV files from the ones that had them..

Also, is it possible to create another SFV file for the ones I deleted?

You don't need an sfv file at all, it has nothing to do with roms. Once you have the rom extracted you can safely delete the sfv file. The wiki link should have pretty much explained it.
An sfv file is used to verify the integrity of a file. In many cases it is used for multiple rar archives. If one part of an archive is corrupt an sfv file can tell you which, so you don't have to download the entire files again, just the one corrupted file.
