You want encrypted backups, that's how Gateway does it too. Since it seems Uncart doesn't dump the header, your only choice is to make a 9.2 emuNAND and load Gateway from it.
You might be right. I never considered that Uncart might not include the private header in the dump, it just seemed obvious that it would.

So I guess the decryption on-the-fly was just added for Citra then. Anyway, I made it a9lh compatible by manually merging Aurora's fork with the decryption branch.
