I want to back up the gamesaves for my pokemon games (Yellow, Crystal, Emerald) and I'm looking at using one of the F2A programmers. I don't need a flash card, I already have one for my ds and an EZ3in1, and I've had good luck with GB emulators for the DS.

Here are my questions:[*]Do I need to GBC bridge for the standalone writer?[*]What does it take to use the backed up SRAM in an emulator/EZ3in1[*]I use linux, is the standalone writer compatible with uCON64 or if2a? (I know they both are compatible with the usb linker)
