Is there any way to fix this?

I am using component cables and getting 480p. Not a huge deal, but my TV is already big and I don't need the image to be stretched any more than it already is.

It's gotta be an aspect ratio setting on your TV that's cutting it off, double check

My TV is a Goodmans. I know it's crap though, horrible ghosting too. I had problems with VGA on the 360 (when I put the native TV res it was messed up, a different res worked fine), but with HDMI it was great.

    I shouldn't be too surprised it's messing up a bit on 480p.

I'll take it though, because damn, I tried 50/60hz again and it's a blurry mess. Bright colours looks all grainy.

480p is very crisp, no grainy BS look. I'll take some of the bottom/top of the screen cut off. I only noticed in the Tatsunoko vs Capcom endings (some of the last line of text was missing)

If I could, I wouldn't be playing "backups"
