did you switch to 480p setting in wii settings?
Yes, and I just noticed now that on 50/60Hz it shows all of the screen, but at 480p it cuts off some of the top and bottom (I could tell by the position of the "back" and "confirm" buttons)

QUOTE(rolandpibb @ May 28 2010, 07:29 PM) It's gotta be an aspect ratio setting on your TV that's cutting it off, double check
Nope, I tried them all cut off the top and bottom in 480p.

My TV is a Goodmans. I know it's crap though, horrible ghosting too. I had problems with VGA on the 360 (when I put the native TV res it was messed up, a different res worked fine), but with HDMI it was great.

I shouldn't be too surprised it's messing up a bit on 480p.

I'll take it though, because damn, I tried 50/60hz again and it's a blurry mess. Bright colours looks all grainy.

480p is very crisp, no grainy BS look. I'll take some of the bottom/top of the screen cut off. I only noticed in the Tatsunoko vs Capcom endings (some of the last line of text was missing)
