So, a little background first.
I download all my music from either Soundcloud or YouTube with a third-party website. I always use official uploads. After downloading, I edit all the metadata with Mp3tag to contain the official album art, accurate title and artist. Using this method, all my music has the same metadata format: "ID3v2.3 (ID3v1 ID3v2.3)". I use Pi Music Player on my phone, since all other players I've tried have a weird bug where the sound mutes itself randomly and I have to pause and unpause for it to work again.
So, now the problem.
There are some songs that have their metadata not displayed by Windows Explorer; the songs display normally in Mp3tag, though. These same songs don't show up in Pi, even though they are copied to my phone.
Here's an example (the song in question is Rampage):
Song in Windows Explorer (missing metadata)
Song in Mp3tag (metadata present)
Song in Files (song present)
Song in Pi (song missing)
