So I just updated my EmuMMC to 9.0.0 and noticed that Retroarch nsp and the Goldleaf nsp releases don't work with button inputs. Only the touch screen works.
The NRO releases work fine in HBL, just not the nsp versions. Or maybe it's just EmuMMC. I don't recall testing them after I installed EmuMMC?

    Anyone else notice this?

I haven't tried other nsp homebrew since those 2 are the only ones I have

iirc 9.0.0 brought some changes which messed up all homebrew apps. They needed to be recompiled to make controls work again. Popular apps like you mentioned most likely are fixed in newer versions. Just update them :)

The latest Goldleaf works but I can't seem to find a new Retroarch nsp. And I can't get Nro2nsp to work. Lame

Retroarch shouldnt be run trough nsp, only trough homebrew menu (nro)

I may be mistaken, but I was under the impression that forwarders do run the nro.

    • The RetroArch NSP, NSP forwarders of any kind, or launching HBL through the Album (or any) applet are NOT supported.
Launching N64 through the album is also NOT supported, and will cause your switch to fatal.

Again, make sure you are using the latest version/build of RetroArch, as previous builds may not support 9.x.x. As mentioned above, all homebrew using libnx has to be rebuilt with libnx2.5+ for buttons to work in 9.x.x.
