And I agree Trump is no good future for America, but you and everyone must denounce an assassination attempt of a presidential candidate for what it is regarding the deterioration in the democratic process. Anything else is hypocrite. That is not the way.

I already said I don't want him turned into a martyr. He should die from natural causes inside of a jail cell.

I've also long advocated for more common sense gun control measures, which very well might have prevented this depending on who the shooter is as well as what their criminal/psychiatric history is.

I don't condone any action which would make a martyr out of him, but he remains the biggest threat to this nation, and the justice system has failed to hold him accountable for his crimes/ties to foreign dictators. It does not surprise me that some people cannot contain their anger over that.

The primary against Nikki Haley was held a year after his last recorded vote in the 2022 midterms.

Perhaps he was led to believe that Trump was literally Hitler, cozied up to foreign dictators, was a Putin stooge, slept with strippers, was urinated on in a Russian hotel, called fallen soldiers losers, told people to drink bleach, called both sides "very fine people" in Charlottesville, was responsible for millions of Covid deaths, wants to take our rights away and is an existential threat to our democracy.
