How did you "installed" the new game?
With the loader's Dumping feature, or with an application on your computer?

Some old applications are not writing the data correctly are are overwriting part of the games already present on the HDD.
You should use Wii Backup Manager if you are on windows.

There are tools (Wit/wwt, or the SHA-1 function in Wii Backup Manager) to verify all your WBFS partition and the game integrity.

If you want, you can convert your WBFS partition to FAT32 (with wbfs2fat tool).

I thought so you may want to change to Fat 32. This use to happen to my WBFS drive a fair bit after i got a few games on it. It did take a while before it started doing this. But once you have changed you wont go back.Do you use WiiBackupManager if not download it from the downloads section and hook your drive up to your comp it might show you which games are bad (in red text well it did on mine).

I had this problem too. It was wiiplaymotion and a rabbids game for me. Once I added them nothing would work. I was told I had the WBFS bug and it was common and all my games were killing themselfs.
This was not true.
I deleted said games (delete the last three or four you added) and this fixes the problem completely.

if i convert the hhd over to the fat32 will i have to relaod all of the games
no, you can keep them

only the ones damaged by the delete bug need to be reripped
(if any, check with wiimms wwt or WBM)
but then need to be reripped wether you change FS or not

You use this program : http://gbatemp.net/t291320-wbfs2fat-py

It will convert the partition format without deleting the games.
Though, the current corrupted games will have to be re-ripped.
