Darkrevol, it would be nice if you provided any proof of the fact that the installer indeed caused a brick - right now we just have your word. We'd like to know if the installer is indeed dangerous, because if it is, we'll discourage using it on the front page, as we have back when unstable Gateway firmware caused bricks. Please provide photographic proof and a detailed description of what happened, perhaps someone could replicate the circumstances, for instance gamesquest1 who proved invaluable when investigating Gateway bricks.
Hmm well I can call you an asshole you don't even warned us about this (speaking of a fucking dev)
Yes he has, st4rk said it was dangerous and unstable since the day it leaked.

How can games possibly brick your 3DS?
There is a possibility he was messing with system files.

To sum things up:
GovanifY (=attention whore) has leaked our 4.5 exploit, this stuff is stolen and was never meant to be public.
Those bins are 100% our work, the leaked source is also just a disasm of them.
The credit for the hard work at this belong to us: yellows8, profi200 and me.
Note that you connect to GovanifY's server when using this... What he does with your IP or 3DS is out of your control ;)
so hf w/ bricking your 3DS and other bugs we neve:)r fixed

installing .cia comes with risks :P just like installing .wad on the wii
Here's the thing - using any piece of unlicensed and homebrewed software or hardware comes at a risk, the problem here is a simple matter of quantifying the risk, which is why I'd like to know more and preferably replicate the brick before anyone sounds the alarm.

regardless of a bricked 3DS or two (By those to eager for the rest of the homebrew devs to take a look at it.) I am still glad to see this out in the wild. It could also be a scare tactic by the jaded devs who wanted to keep their findings to themselves. (Puts tin foil hat back on....)

The problem here is the brick itself, not the quantification of the risk involved with the brick. If the brick came from something that had the sole intention of bricking the device, that's its own issue, but if the issue is the brick was caused from poorly executed installation of the CFW, then that's another.
