Hmm...did those imgburn guys ask you how old your wii was? Because it looks like you installed cioscorpdarkcorp correctly, using a very decent loader (note: checkhere to check the latest beta...wiipower's R9 has been in development for over a year) and use the brand that is more or less considered to be the best brand. Oh, and imgburn is also an awesome burning program, hands down.

...but since around mid 2008, nintendo switched to a new DVD model that simply will not read anything but retail wii discs. So if it's bought later or have any color but that white/grey then your discs are worthless (unless you swap it for an older model drive).

Not to fear, though. Pretty much everyone plays wii games from USB drive, now. It's a bit different to set up, but having all your games on one hard disk is more convenient, loads faster and (in the long run) cheaper than purchasing whole stacks of DVD's.

Its ~mid 2009. And the new DVD reads both retail Wii games, and retail Gamecube games :)
    Just some clarification :P (sorry)

No problem. You're right on both points. :)

(okay, I knew about the GC games, but still...)
