Hacking Softmod internet connection

Can i connect internet with my softmodded wii,

what i should do, what i shouldnt.


like use internet channel to browse and close wii24 and say no to any update.

or any homebrew softwares i need to use to prevent updating and to browse?

Yep! Your internet connection will work with a softmodded Wii, as long as it's compatible with Wii. What you should do is anything you normally do on your Wii using an internet connection. What you SHOULDN'T do it update your Wii. (while it's softmodded) This can cause a brick.
