Hacking Softmod help..With MH3

Okay so, my friend followed this guide http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901 and is actually USING a real copy of MH3, however it tries to run a system update, saying it'll nuke all of the mods on my friend's wii. Now I don't have this problem, but I followed a different guide from afterdawn to get mine to 4.2U and do not have this problem whatsoever. SO what does my friend need to do D:. Also sorry if this is the wrong part of the form to be asking this.

If he followed that guide he should have Priiloader installed. If you install the hacks.ini for your region in Priiloader, you can enable a hack to block disc updates. This lets you play games as normal without being prompted to update.
