Hacking Soft modded not loading games

Hi, I soft modded my vWii by using the lego batman exploit to get HBC then followed Truth's
Simple guide to install cIOS on vWii + backup NAND and keys.

All went well and was able to use and play snes and n64 emulators fine. The problem I have is playing wii games,

with usb loader gx I have no luck as it freezes on initiating USB drive. With CFG I am able to play Super Mario Bros. 3+ & Newer Super Mario Bros but I tried G1 jockey 2008 and it says

booting wii game... please wait

Then screen goes black and freezes. G1 jockey pal version.

I'm using a 8gb Cruzer micro USB flash drive. what is the way to put the games on the usb drive and what format is best for the drive and the games?

Have you tried WiiFlow?

As for USB Loader GX...

What format is your hard drive/usb stick?
Which usb port are you plugging your hard drive/usb stick into?
If it is hard drive, do you have a Y cable?

I have had my wii hacked for quite a while now/3 years. I used to play on my hdd with an enclosure on it but that broke so started playing on some spare usbs i have, later on i bought myself another hdd enclosure using the same hard drive but for some reason CFG and Usb loader gx dont read it, wiiflow happens to read it but games wont boot, gives black screen, and my wad manager, pimp my wii gives me an error when i try to install wads, can not mount usb mass storage device, ERROR! (ret = -2), something like that. tried both fat32 format and wbfs, i have the latest d2x ios 56 and 57, please help!

Don't use Brick my wii (pimp my wii) only install what is recommended or you will fast have a bricked vwii . Try powering the hdd on while it is starting up Usbloadergx this works for some less compatible enclosures that are not recognised . If that does not work then you may just need to get another Hdd sorry.

i only used pimp my wii to see whether it would recognize the drive or not, it is a regular black wii not wii u

Is your drive formatted as FAT32, NTFS, or WBFS?

tried all except ntfs, heard its not supported!

That's completely false. Maybe a long time ago it wasn't, but NTFS is actually the best nowadays. I would recommend reformatting to NTFS and using Wii Backup Manager to put games on it.

i will try, but in that case why does my flash drive work when it is formatted to fat32 but not the hdd?
