Gaming Soft mod

Ok, I know I'm probably gonna get flamed a lot for this, but ... yea....


So I'm thinking of getting a 360. I have a Wii, and I homebrew installed, and can use USB Loaders. What I want to know is, can you do the same with the 360?
(now this is where the flaming starts)

I've done some searching, and have learned that, you can't softmod the 360, but you can flash the DVD Drive, but I'm still a little uncertain about some things.

a) Will flashing void my warranty?
b) Will I be able to play out of region games?
c) Will I be able to play games online without the risk of getting banned.

Yes and they do look out for it.

b) Will I be able to play out of region games?
No more than you already can (a stock 360 will play some games)- game devs/publishers can choose to region lock games. Fortunately there is usually very little wait if they do, more info on this site:

There is some homebrew stuff coming at some point that could work around it in various ways but do not count on it happening for a few months and being easy when it does hit.

c) Will I be able to play games online without the risk of getting banned.

Gee. thanks for the reply FAST. I went out and bought an Elite yesterday. I think I'll just be safe, and stick to originals for now.
