Now that we already got a better look at Switch homebrew scene, what is the latest console do you think that Switch can emulate at playable frame rate?

Can emulate? Well, even the first computer would be able to emulate an Xbox One X if you let it sit for like 9 years.
Playable framerate? Well, that depends completely on the design of the emulator. As for the Switches potential I would say up to GC at max through emulation for consoles, and up to DSi for portables (maybe 3DS since they both use ARM, something similar to Nintendont).

the lightweight GCN titles if you directly go by what the Shield TV can do. You have to remember that the hardware in the switch isn't as custom designed as previous iterations of nintendo consoles.

As long as someone dedicated enough can get 3ds games to work on the switch that's the only emulation I'm looking forward to.... Everything else can be emulated by other means. Having a 3DS emulation would be very ground breaking imo specially if you can use the motion controllers as stylish.

Wii (literally an updated GC) at the most, maybe 3DS as the Switch uses ARM. Nvidia Shield can run Wii Games at native 1080p so I really don't see why the Wii wouldn't be able to

Didn’t Ninty downclock the hardware a lot? Iirc they said that Tegra processor has a lot more power than what they’re letting loose. If Devs can open it up, who knows? Is that processor in anything else to measure it to?

The Switch should be able to emulate up to Gamecube and PS2. Dolphin already works on the Shield it just needs some extra effort to get it running a little better. I'd imagine everything before that generation should work about as good as it does everywhere else.

The system is more than capable, its up to the people writing and porting the emulators to make the most out of it.

Was surprised to see Sega Saturn on the RetroArch list! Knowing it was difficult to emulate for a while on PC due to its hardware set up.
Nothing would make me happier than being able to play Guardian heroes, Dragon Force and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Be fun to test out how far that emulation progresses on switch. Probably think up to 3ds and Gamecube for emulation though.

I wonder if it’s in those Uber driverless test vehicles. One just ran over some lady in Tempe around ASU....
And even a human driver couldn't have done something. There isn't much you can do when a person jump on the street a few meters before your car. It's called physics. But on topic I also thing anything to do around wii should be possible.

I think wii could be emulated, but not other console of its generation

There's a lot of bullshit here.
Switch has a 1 Ghz ARM CPU. Worse than most smartphones. Shield TV runs at 2 Ghz and GC games runs at half speed. Switch CPU is similar to a Raspberry pi CPU. Switchs GPU is much faster but this is not so important for emulation.

A twice as fast shield TV can't render n64 games at 100%.
