Hacking So now I have updated to bootstrap, how to enter gateway?

I am making the conversion from gateway to bootstrap cia.
Now I need to convert approx 7 games save games from.3ds (skylander/pokemon games)
So I found this guide:

Now I need to be able to acces the gateway card again for it to acces the saves...
But when i press X or Y or hold start the chainloader menu doesnt popup anymore like it used to..
Any help on this?

Well, it's safe to update but not for outdated GW loader.
Did you have full backup of your nand (not the one create when install b9s) that under 11.3?

Well I think I do? 11.2 or lower probably when created. but i would lose bootstrap if i restore nand? also im always scared with shit like this.
Plus. Would my installed games change and or the order i have my icons in on my sysnand? or would I need to make a nand backup of that first.
This seems to be getting awfully complicated just to get savegames from gateway

just wait another week or two. They'll be out of private beta soon and roll into public beta, if not an official release. Either way, you'll be able to dump your saves at that point.

Use 3down to downgrade your ctrnand to 11.2.

Great. I think i will do that then for now..
On a side note i just bought a 11.2 console for my nephew.. so i might be able to dump the save from there..

Lol, I really doubt they'll ever release the update for 11.3+, I mean, ever. Remember when they originally said they'd release the update on April? They didn't keep their promise. They have abandoned their customers. So don't expect them to release the update soon™

Anyway Here's an easy way to downgrade from 11.4 to 11.2 (Assuming you have an EU New 3DS)
This only takes about 10 mins!

What you need
-3DNUS
-FBI

1.Launch 3DNUS, type in "11.2.0-35E", check "New 3DS", and click on "BEGIN DOWNLOAD". Wait until firmware downloading is finished!

2.Put the following .cia files from the 11.2.0-35E folder into the cias folder of your micro SD.

When you're done importing your saves, update your 3DS to 11.4 again and say farewell to Gatewait

dude... They have ONE programmer who currently resides in a whole other time zone. They are slow. We all know this. Stop trying to speculate on things you know nothing about. Updates are coming.

Thanks for this post I didn't know you could do this I didn't even know about 3DNUS app, fantastic!. I can downgrade and use GW again! I presume you can still use all the features on 11.2 Firmware? I'm not sure sorry. My 3DNUS app has downloaded a lot more cia files then you have posted to put on your sd card for the downgrade to 11.2FW, are they not needed or something for FBI? is it brick proof this method as well? Your saying as well you can use FBI on your main menu to downgrade a firmware, is that right? you sure.
