Well, they "brought it back" around 2004, and had those other flavors like cherry and Melon, but this is like a whole new re-packaging. It's...unfamiliar. I remember seeing it in a vending machine a few weeks back and nostalgia'd HARD. I use to love it so much and had to turn back to Mountain Dew when it decided to take the long road away from the stores.

MD Pitch Black, the original Taco Doritos and Coffee and Cream Oreos seemed to do that on me as well.

Mountain Dew: Pitch Black will be missed greatly. That was the best thing ever, and I was sad to see it go. Pitch Black II was okay, but it was more bitter, which kind of made it not a thing I could drink a lot of and not feel sick, unlike the original.
