Hacking So, is there any way to link your NNID without Updating?

I cant connect to the eShop on EmuNAND because i formatted SysNAND to separate the two.

No backup of sysnand before... Am i screwed?

It keeps asking me to update before i can link my NNID on SysNAND.
If i try linking it on EmuNAND i get error 022 2364 (the linking one) using that option OR the eShop.

Is there any way i can link my NNID without updating?

Format sysnand to get rid of the update nag. It will connect to Internet to verify your eligibility but will not update. Then set up your NNID is sysnand. Then emunad eshop should work. Once you get it working in emunand it will stay working even if you format sysnand again.

Tried formatting SysNAND, when i try linking my NNID i get the same error which needs an update...
Ill try formatting EmuNAND and see where that gets me.

Btw, i found an old NAND backup for my 2DS and after restoring that, eShop still doesnt work.

Status update: Fixed!

I formatted EmuNAND after trying the previous steps.
Format EmuNAND > Update to 9.5 > Change NNID settings.
It actually let me through to the Nintendo NNID settings on my EmuNAND, and from there i relinked my NNID.

Now downloading the MH4U v1.1 update. Thanks a bunch guys
