Very likely. It appears to have sold more in the first month than the Wii U did overall (though I can't find actual numbers). The high price could kill it though

It is still selling out within minutes when an online shop gets them.

I know people that plan on going to Toys'r'us before they open and waiting to get one in the morning since they held some for their Sunday ad.

So yeah, it is still selling well.

It's not a high price. Not in the least.

And the scummy price gouging doesn't help either.

Apparently it does. Regardless, stock should start evening out here soon enough. Not like everyone needs to be rushing out to get one right now..

Glad I didn't. Heard a lot of shit about BOTW framerate problems.

Which has since gotten much, much better. Not like it was at all unplayable, though.

BotW, while it seems like it's the epitome of the switch to about 98% of anyone who doesn't own one (really wish they'd do more research, but you can't ask that of the common people), is a rather bad port of a WiiU game. Other developers have said so. Even the team that worked on it said so (something along the lines of they couldn't fully utilize the switch's potential).

Is it the only worthwhile title on the switch? To the same 98%, probably yes. To many switch owners, probably yes. However it does NOT fully utilize the switch's potential.
