That's what they give as an answer to everyone who asks about the blue button card. There will never be a fix.
Agree with you, it's supposed to be hardware… but I have a question : how can hardware problems be bypassed by software releases ? They made their card upgradable but how can we be sure that they won't need a new card again ?

The udgrades are probably just to add stability(tm) If another AP check happens they will most likely have to make a new sky3ds.

Don't quote me on this but I vaguely remember someone pointing out how the Sky3ds+ already has the AP check hardware implemented into the cart, therefore if nintendo changed the AP check around all the sky team would have to do is understand what nintendo changed and create an update for the Sky3ds+.

Unless the new AP checks use new hardware...

Of course that's assuming that Nintendo decides to keep pushing new mechanisms isntead of just moving things around.

Because in my eyes, moving things around would be pointless and they know that people would figure it out in matter of days.

It will take atleast 1-2 years to change new AP mechanism, put it in a game and produce it. So pay around 90$ for all 3DS games make in 2 years, i think it's worth it.

It'll be a combination of Wii U Gamepad + 3DS. Finally a "powerful" portable that you can play anywhere.... and dock it to a TV at home to enjoy full screen gameplay.

It'll be a combination of a toaster over and a waffle maker, it'll do your homework and taxes for you and still have time at the end of the day to make you feel like a man. Act now an they'll throw in a free set of steak knives.

The SKY3DS Team are currently working on a solution for the AP Check for the Non-Orange Button cards, they will have it done soon. :)

How could it be possible, they said it's an hardware problem ?

The solution will be to buy a newer version of the card.
