Well, I finally got done Softmodding my brothers Wii. So we did his friends perfectly fine, then we did mine. Well, I kinda forgot that my GameCube Controllers and Memory Cards were in there. So I did the tutorials I did on the other two Wii's, and when I went to delete IOS 222, 223, 249, and 250 there was no 249 in there, and then when I tried to install the custom 249 one it wouldn't let me (most likely because its still on there). I'm pretty sure this was because I left the Gamecube stuff in.

Now, is there anyway to get all of these IOS's back so I can redo it? Like is there anyway to get them back by a Wii update or something? I just updated to 4.2 by the way. I don't know what to do, I'm stuck and I wanna hack my Wii. I'm such a dumbass for not looking...

Well, when I tried to go and delete the IOS's with Anytitle Deleter IOS249 wasn't there. Are you telling me with ATD I can bring the ones I deleted back?

Sorry if I sound like a complete noob at this because I am, I am used to hardmodding lol

Alright thanks but, what do I do with it?

Also, because I am interested, why do you have to take out all Gamecube stuff anyways?

Maybe you could just install 3.2, well, if you were running on 3.2 just use the Anyregionchanger, and install 3.2, but if with 4.X then i would not recommend it...
And this has nothing to do with the GC remote

Well, I guess I do have BootMii installed, and my brother already had a NAND Backup on his SD card so I think I am all good. What are these keys you are talking about?

Ahhh, I see. So I should make my own NAND backup for my own Wii?

You'll need to restore the trucha bug in IOS36 with TBR, then use IOS36 to install the cIOS.

If your HBC is upsidedown you can use Dop-Mii to install a fresh IOS36 if you like.

Actually, it might be a good idea to post the results of a sign check (can be done in Dop-Mii).

I had 3.2 but I updated to 4.2 to do this because it was the way I knew how to do it. Maybe I should just stick with Hardmodding, I know how to do that well lol

Yeah, I would really love to do Softmodding because I love the USB Loader.

I will check out that downloader and research some more, hopefully I can figure out what I did wrong. Thanks for helping me out so far man [IMG]

I said IF... Meaning that his Wii has a possibility of it turning upside down. As unlikely as it is, it's possible.

How am I to know which IOS his HBC is install under!

I still reckon it's a good idea to post the result of a SysCheck.
