PS1/2 So I bought this MagicSwap and these DVD9's

Why they no work?

MagicSwap 3.8, PS2 Slim, Verbatim DVD9. I seem to have it all, but can't boot my copy of Xenosaga. Wanna also burn my GT4, but I fear that will also be futile. I have 19 discs left and DVD9's run at about $1 a disc so theres not much room for error here. I also plan to download and try Rogue Galaxy.

What methods, tutorials, or programs do I need?

Toxic Dual Layer Image Patcher, if that doesn't work you will probably have to swap in a dual layer game for a higher toc refresh.

With SwapMagic just install FreeMCBoot and ESR on your Memory Card to play PS2 backups.
Remember to patch the game iso with ESR patcher before burning them to DVD-R at 4x.
