Hacking So...am I flagged/banned?

Hi again!

So I'm just wondering about a few things regarding banning and stuff on Xbox 360. I was stupid enough to try and play Fable 3 after the AP25 update (dont ask me why...). It ofc resulted to the "Disc is unreadable" screen.

My questions is:

1. Does this mean I'm definitely going to get banned? I readt somewhere that Microsoft gives you 3 chances to pass the check, and I readt somewhere else that Fable 3 is having some troubles with the AP25 banning thingy too.

2. How long does it take from Flag to ban? I have been online several occasions after the "accident", but I can still download stuff check what my friends is playing and stuff.

I checked my Xbox using XVal, and it reported "Failed AP25 Challenge". I also checked the Xbox Service trick(where you see if you can send it in to Microsoft Repair) and the Code Status Trick on the Xbox LIVE Test Connection Screen. It passed both these two.

The reason I'm wondering is because I really wanted to play a little online with my friends again. I can't afford a new Xbox, so I'm just planning to buy a 1 month Gold, in case my Xbox gets banned.

You are flagged, but not banned. You should be fine playing online but once MS has another ban wave expect to get banned.

I don't think you're flagged, because if you didn't reburn your copy after the update then that's expected to happen. Because Fable 3 is apart of the 2.5 ap games, so if you didn't reburn your iso AFTER you run it through ABGX again, then you wouldn't be able to play it.

You are most likely flagged and will get banned next time Microsoft pushes that big red button. Sorry.


TIP: Always keep your disc drive updated and your games properly stealth patched. It will dramatically decrease your risk of being banned.

I really don't think he's banned, I don't know which update he means, I'm presuming the latest one, where you have to reburn ap games since that new update changed the ap thing, and Fable 3 is counted as a ap game.

Depends what disk drive he has and what firmware he was on while running an ap2.5 game. When you get banned its your console and not the account that takes the hit, unless your on a jtag. When you do eventually get banned just sell the xbox or trade it for an unbanned console.


When you mod in such a way you should always expect a perma ban one time or another...

I was on the original LT 1.0 when I tried to play it.

I'm on LT+ 1.9 now btw.

Anyways, I'll just buy a 1 month LIVE gold and enjoy the time I got left on LIVE

Sorry, but I got a new quick question so I just thought I could ask it here.

To play Halo Reach again I need to patch it and reburn it. Since I don't have the ISO any longer on the PC can I just rip it from the already burnt one, patch and reburn?
