Homebrew Snes9x GX Channel

Hey everyone this is one of my many channels i made along time ago, but the site that i put it up for download on closed. So i though i would put it up here for whoever didn't get a chance to download it

This is a forwarder channel that loads from ios58, boot.dol load path...
SD:/apps/Snes9xGX/boot.dol
USB:/apps/Snes9xGX/boot.dol

This is a updated version of my channel with custom splash screen and compress with BNS!

Looks nice, I just have one question: Is this a forwarder channel that loads a .dol off an SD card? There was another SNES9x channel, but I didn't download it because it wasn't a forwarder and therefore only an ancient version of the emulator could be used with it.

So did you update the forwarder dol? If so you should mention it.

I've always used your channel untill the HBC update that uses ios 58.
Id broke your channel's DVD support.

I liked your channel so I modified the forwarder dol myself ( using Wiimc source and a lot of help from others ) to make my dvd's work again.

both wrong. every ios gives you dvd support. ahbprot works in all IOS, not just 58. and there is no such thing as "an Apbroth enabled forwarder dol".

theres just 2 things you need to do.
1 - edit your tmd in your wad. set the access flags to 3, and set the system version to ios58. ios 58 is ONLY FOR USB2 SUPPORT.

2 - compile your dol with the latest libogc, or override the ios "loadstartupios()" that happens before main().

if anybody want the forwarder .dol ( Apbroth enabled dol ,WiiMC source ) to inject into your excisting channels, i'll be happy to post them.
You can edit the channels the easy way using customize mii.

Importing the new forwarder dol in an exsisting channel does'nt work. You have to change the tmd in your cahnel to just like Giantpune said.
There are however static wads availeble for this purpose. You can then change the animations etc. And inject the forwarder dol.
I did this, and it works.

lol close2sanity. that was my avatar a year ago and i had it for a few months at least without any issues. then some mod decided it was sexually offensive or some crap and made me change it.
