Snes9xGX 004 brings some important new changes. First, source code can be now accessed through svn: http://code.google.com/p/snes9x-gx/ This version also has 'crisper' graphics many were complaining about. This is due to the disabling of AA filtering, but this feature can be toggled in the menu. Also, users with classic controllers should be pleased with turbo and zoom options mapped to the right analog stick (I still need to figure out a way to map these to other controllers - any ideas?). USB loading is an option for the wii version, however many devices WILL NOT WORK - this is because libogc/libfat do not support them yet. Also, I believe that the usb devices must be plugged in before loading the emulator. If they are removed/reinserted/changed then they will not work until you exit and restart the emulator. Furthermore, USB devices must be FAT formatted. Basically, don't cry if your usb stick doesn't work This version saves sram and freezes by the ROM filename, not internal ROM name. Fortunately, it will prompt you to 'convert' your old sram saves to the new style once per game. Freezes aren't so lucky. You can rename them manually or just make new ones, sorry. Installing: - Make sure you have "snes9x/roms" and "snes9x/saves" folders on your sd card. - Copy the apps folder to your sd card to run Snes9xGX with the homebrew channel. Code: - source is now available on google code http://code.google.com/p/snes9x-gx/ - added: option to disable AA filtering ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ (snes graphics 'crisper', AA now default OFF) - added: mapped zooming and turbo mode to classic controller - added: preliminary usb support (loading) - changed: sram and freezes now saved by filename, not internal romname. ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ If you have multiple versions of the same game, you can now have ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ srams and freezes for each version. A prompt to convert to the ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ new naming is provided for sram only. - changed: by default, autoload/save sram and freeze enabled Link: http://rapidshare.com/files/135230649/Snes9xGX-004.rar Password: wii94 Thanks for the download link, wii94.
