I've been using SNES9x GX, FCU Gx, and GBA GX for a while via USB HDD through HBC and just recently update them to their new versions. I tested a theory last night, played each emulator for like 10 mins with my wifi available and then tried again with it removed from the system menu and couldn't get passed a minute before it freezes or crash and displayed this;

*SNES9x GX 4.2.5

I reseted and tried 3 more times with and same results. I reconfigure my wifi connection and the crashes and freezing stopped. I dont know if it has something to do with the emulator or my wii. I have tested on other friends wii that I've soft modded and it does the same. I hope to have this fixed soon before I get deployed again.

This is an issue with HBC - it doesn't deinit the net (which is still attemping to init in your case when HBC exits) properly before loading the apps. The next HBC should fix it. In the meantime, simply removing

from the meta.xml will fix the problem.

This will however break DVD support, right?
