Snes Mini Mame2003 MK2 and MK3 sound low

I looked around, but cannot seem to find where to adjust the sound higher
When starting MK2 I click both select and start and go to sound.
But from there you can only adjust from 12 back to -80db.

Is there a way to get it above 12 ?

You can set the volume of each game manually in the command line. Mine automatically are set to 100, but if it launches with RetroArch instead of Clover, then it might be a different setting within RetroArch's quick menu.

Yes I have Retroarch installed
but settings audio will only allow me to go from +12 to -80

The volume for MK's with MAME was done through the DIP switch option. Not tried with a SNES, but MAME on a PC, and XBOX, it was done through the DIP setting.

Think pc was F2 from memory.

So we have nothing like this in the snes mini?
