Well since I just modded my Wii today (Wii-Clip + WiiKey) my brother wants to know how to put an SNES emulator and some roms on a disk or on the Wii.

Sorry if this sounds really noobish, but I am new to the Wii Scene.

If anyone can help I will be very grateful!

You can find many different versions of SNES9X on the following site...

http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_apps/Snes9X_Wii

Some have support for features like the Wii Remote, and some don't. You will need an SD card, and then the Twilight Hack or Homebrew Channel in order to boot the emulator.

For most of the emulators, you need to create a folder on the root of the SD card, and name it 'snes9x'. Inside that folder, create two more, and name them 'roms' and 'saves'. I believe all of the emulators allow for saving to a GameCube memory card, and most allow for saving to an SD card.

That's probably a gamecube-mode disc then. It will work just fine for most games, but you might wanna take a look at the more recent wii-mode emulators. They support the classic controller and will run difficult games like mario world 2 at full speed.

Which emulators are the most recent? There are so many to choose from
