Homebrew SMZ3 - Super Metroid & LTTP Combo Randomzier - Emu recommendations?

Good afternoon!

I've been trying to run SMZ3 (Super Metroid LTTP Combo Randomizer) rom hacks on my 3DS.
Theyve all been tested to run on PC as well as SNES9x on Vita (with sound issues and slow down when too much is going on like Trinex death).
Ive tried several of the cores for SNES9x in retroarch but they run slow and the sound stutters or not at all.
Addendum - Ive also tried Snes9x for 3ds and that would run audio but no video
The roms crash Blarg
And they are unable to be injected

I couldn't really think of any other solutions aside from just sticking to the vita for on the go rando so I thought I would ask on here.

Retroarch should handle them most my snes modded roms work fine and i have 100's

That's what was blowing my mind.
They work on Retroarch on my SNES mini but when I try Retroarch on my Vita and 3DS they run like crap.
Ill give them another shot.

RA has several cores for SNES one of them is bound to work i think snes2006 ... its been a while

I didn't bring it with me to work, when I get in that will definitely be the first thing that I try.

All right, finally got around to trying all the cores;

2002 - Crashes the 3ds entirely and forces a shut down and a dump report
2005 and 2005 special load and then when i select my file just audio no video
2010 runs but the audio stutters and runs like its underwater

I just sent in a patch to the RetroArch core that should get it to work in 2005. I put up some unofficial cores here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/unofficial-3ds-retroarch-builds.462252/page-29#post-9227105 or you can wait for the next official nightly build (probably tomorrow).
