NOTE: This is an idea ( Maybe I'll develop my idea or someone else will lol ) Technically this isn't my idea as it probably has been thought of before. Can't we do something like send them as email to the phone carrier?

For example send emails to people like this?

    T-Mobile: phonenumber@tmomail.net
    Virgin Mobile: phonenumber@vmobl.com
    Cingular: phonenumber@cingularme.com
    Sprint: phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
    Verizon: phonenumber@vtext.com
    Nextel: phonenumber@messaging.nextel.com

And send it over to them like that? As I'm pretty sure that would be free, but if your Phone provider is different than these then then you'll need to find them out lol like mine is @sasktel something something something ( lol i forgot ) but getting the SMS is a different matter ( maybe someone will come up with that )

i dont see how this is useful no offence. Just majority of phones have email under sms options now anyways, so why not just send an email?
