Hacking SMG works but not wii setting

I have usa wii unit. Updated with wiikey 1.9g. By mistake I put SMG PAL and it semi brick my wii. Menu setting does not work (my mistake not reading carefully >>>>huh). I updated my wii later on with SMG NTSC USA version. Update successfully but my wii setting is still not working. Is there anything that I can do to fix it or I should wait until the next firmware update. Thanks for all your help.

You'll have to wait for a later update on disk to unsemibrick your Wii.

Like above. you need any other game which has update to fix that.
I'm not sure Wii Link Crossbow will help that or not cause it has an update.

Thanks for the reply. I will wait for the next update. Do you know what version is on Wii Link Crossbow?

I tried original US version Wii Link Crossbow. It did not ask for an update and works. I guess I have to wait for the next update. Oh well.....
