I just got my Wii back and am trying to follow the guide:
http://gbatemp.net/t171901-modify-any-wii-4-3-below

Grabbed the 43mod files and extracted them to the root of the SD card. Now, I go about following how to get it to run, and once I check the SD Card, the game just completely freezes with a high pitch noise. Nothing works... I mean... am I doing something wrong? I don't think I am.

Any help?

Nevermind, seems deleting them, and trying to do the hack at the same tim doesn't work. I have to completely get rid of them and restart the wii.

Is there any way to get the Bootmii installer to install as boot2 at some point later if the only option you have at first is to install it as an IOS? I am an outdated noob.

I've been working on making a wheel controller with arduino, 3d printed round knob, and a potientometer.to play breakout and games like that. Kinda of like the old Atari 2600 controllers.

@FlareReZ what language would you reccomend to start with, to learn DS coding? Just curious
  • FlareReZ @ FlareReZ:
devkitPro by defaults use C and C++. So I suppose you start off with C first and then move onto C++.

  • FlareReZ @ FlareReZ:
Because C++ is more complex than C.
