Hacking smash DLC and newer smash amiibo don't work together

I have a cloud amiibo that runs just fine with or without smash DLC on 3DS.

but when I go to load the games DLC files (that I got somewhere from the net) with haxchi... I get the DLC... but then amiibo support for DLC characters (not supported)

is this a known issue? or do I have some weird DLC verison before the update to include amiibo suuport for those characters on wii u?

also non DLC characters (majoras mask link boots up link) work just fine with or without haxchi upgrades

check your update version. If smash is not 1.1.7 no support for new Amibo

it is 1.1.7 though! thats the weird thing...

yet it acts like 1.1.6... it could be because the files are older... but I'm not sure where the official ones are.

shit. I'd just buy the bundles if they weren't so expensive...

you may have to redownload the game, update & dlc. just use freeshop and that 3ds title key site to make it easier.

derp, i completely forgot what forum i was in, lol.

you'll need to use Wii U USB Helper and WUP installer to redownload and install Smash Bros, the Update & DLC again.

the likely issue is that you may have installed one or the other on USB or NAND, when all 3 usually need to be in the same location to work properly.
