usually cross-region saves are not compatible on the 3ds, so I'll say probably not
we'll know for sure, when both versions are released

And here I thought I'd have to wait a bit after the US release. There is an update for the ROM,downloading now on my EU 3DS. (And as I type this the eShop says it's down for maintenance.)

I got mine fine m8 but it was a while ago. I played 1 person but no one online.
