I never understood why people say that the EZ4 has better GBA compatibility than the M3. I have both carts and have never experienced any slowdown or glitches with either one. Of course I don't use the M3 game manager to transfer my games (I use GBATA to SRAM patch and then directly transfer), so maybe this is why I never see the glitches peeps always mention?
Back on topic, here's my comparison of the two carts:
M3 Lite:
+ Loads games in half the time of the EZ4
+ Writes saves in 1/4 the time as the EZ4
+ All games run without special tricks (some EZ4 games MUST be loaded into NOR to run)
EZ4 Lite:
+ Uses standard .sav format, smaller size and allows for easy sharing with VBA (PC emulator)
+ Saves are easier to rename, just change the filename (M3 uses a program to convert them)
+ Can load games into NOR so they instantly load (but takes FOREVER to load into NOR)
