It seems that the Slim Hitachi drives are partially hacked.

The method used to emulate them is not for the avarage joe to do.
You'll need your CPU key and 2 files from your NAND.
Basically it requires you to flash XeLL to your NAND and grab the CPU key.
Then pull apart then NAND and grab the two files.

It's currently great for those who have a Dual NAND RGH machine.

Wut? I thought the latest SLIMs (the ones having Hitachis) were not RGH-able in the first place?

    Corona is glitchable.

It requires you to have an external clock timer thingy.
It doesn't rely on the HANA chip.
Same goes for the Xenon (altough it has a ANA chip)

Hitachi drives aren't just in Coranas. Some trinity consoles had them as well. You had the 0500 version of them, which were not too common, then they made their reappearance as 0502, although still not common.

Be interesting to see what the driver emulation haters say about this. Considering a lot claimed they were just copying c4e and there's still no LT for these, but they are now emulated.
