Hello,
I was under the impression the sleep function on the EZ Flash Omega DE just didn’t work and was some kind of limitation of the hardware, because when I choose “sleep” in any game menu, the game simply continues after a quick stutter suggesting it thinks it’s being “woken up” immediately.
But I just now realized there is an actual sleep function built into the EZ Flash Omega DE interface itself. I have:
- Enabled the sleep function from the menu with the default shortcut (L + R + Select, I believe)
- Run a clean ROM via “boot with addons” mode
- Ran the ROM with nothing but the “sleep” and “savestate” addons enabled
Now, when I use the shortcut for sleep the GBA seems to instantly go to sleep mode as the screen turns off and the power light stays on. EXCEPT, repeating the same button combo doesn’t wake it back up!!
Am I missing something here? Is there some other way to wake the GBA out of sleep mode? And should the native sleep mode (within a “clean boot”) be working regardless?
