65 dollars for the game? thats quite expensive or are all games that much? i dont know cuz i can never buy them from stores
its an excellent and addictive game and they deserve that much for so much effort. bugs... i would have been surprised if it werent there in such a complex game. PLUS the bug appears in the middle of the game. if it was a common bug occuring at the beginning then they would be heavily blamed like i believe ACR should for the bank deposit glitch i suppose. (i just got around 10 deposits of money for my 30 hr game time although u should get one every 20 mins. Thats 90 times!)

I didn't think people expect bug free games, just not full to the brim of them. :unsure:

That's the point I was tiring to make.

Different versions have different amount glitches. For whatever it's worth I have only ran into 3 glitches so far. The ground of dragon reach suddenly disappearing, a mission npc attacking me when i tried to give him his item and the guards attacking & not giving the option for jail time.

Well the way you sounded before contradicts what you are saying now. If you were trying to make out the point that people can't expect a game to be bug free, then why were you claiming that the developers should be sued if they released a game that had bugs.

No! I was saying Beth. is known to be lazy and not fix game breaking bugs. And with a game bought by so many people this time, they have a higher chance of being sued. I wouldn't blame gamers if they decided to sue.

From reading the xb360 and pc versions have about the same amount of glitches (but different ones). Meanwhile the PS3 as the most and worst glitches. I wouldn't put it past microsoft to pay beth off to make the ps3 version extra glitch-ie. Microsoft as done many gray/grey area and down right dirty things this generation.

what a joke...

could one of the people bitching about this game name a single "game-breaking" glitch? Quest breaking glitch? Maybe... Not sure if anyone has noticed...but the game keeps three separate auto-saves so you can backtrack if something happens that you didn't like, on top of the fact that you can save any time you want.

Bethesda is not "known to be lazy". Bethesda is known to make extraordinarily large games that could be played for literally hundreds of hours. They put out 3 patches for the game within 35 days of release. That's a patch every 12 days... Hardly lazy. The only people who would complain about "bugs" and "glitches" in a game of this size are the ones who have no concept of what goes into making a game of this size. If Bethesda were to release a much smaller installment the next time around so they could make tracking down and correcting bugs more manageable, these same people would bitch about getting less game. So which is it? Should Elder Scrolls/Fallout go the straight-line shooter route? Then you'd end up with Rage and all the bitching that has followed that game...

@Twinretro
You're speaking of the 1.2 patch. The 1.3 patch fixed the issues you mentioned. The only current issue that's been reported is that some people have claimed to be leveling up a little faster than they'd like. Other than that it's a stable release.

Doing the quest "A Daedra's Best Friend" before doing the "Totems of Hircine" quest will cause the game to hang when entering "Haemar's Shame", making the completion of "Totems of Hircine" impossible. Also, Aela follows you around incessantly, replacing your companion and being a useless, annoying substitute.

3 auto saves won't remedy this quite so easily. Taking into account that you could have done "A Daedra's Best Friend" very early into the game and starting on Companion quests such as "Haemar's Shame" much later into a game could screw you over. Now, this isn't game breaking in any way, but it sure is fucking annoying. Everyone should be able to complete quests in any fucking order they want and not be penalised for it.

I'm not saying Bethesda is made up of a bunch of lazy programmers sitting on their asses doing nothing, or that Skyrim is a bug-rigged game waiting to fuck us up every turn we make, but when quest-breaking bugs do come up, they can really piss you off.
