Hacking sky 3ds pkmn Neo y black screen/diskwriter issue

Hello,

I am trying to play Pokemon Neo Y with my sky 3ds (started with Hans) but when i start the battle with the first Gym leader it freezes up, and ideas what this could be?

Also when i open my sky 3ds with diskwriter it wont show rom names, just the cartrdige ID i believe, is this fixable? (i wanna backup my save file, but with this iwill not know which is which)

use dw 2.02b....
since u didn't see any name in dw, I believe you are using 1.1

I am using DiskWriterV202b1 I used to see names! but now i dont :< thats why i am confused

Well i managed to find the titles with the cartidge/game id codes so i backed up my saves anyway

Just hoping someone know what causes this freezes.

Oh yeah I encountered this when I used that converter tool thing to allow more than 10 games on the Sky3DS. I assume it works the same kind of way even for custom roms.

But i havent used a converter tool, i have the blue button, and i always had less then 10 games anyway (cus 16GB sd card)

Oh that is an odd one. I assume the rom is sourced from a good place yeah? Like it's not chopped up to fuck or whatever? Maybe try a different rom.

Yea the roms are alright! (then again if u know a great source feel free to pm )

They keep track of PM's so I can't unfortunately lol. But you prolly got it from the one that everyone hints to on here.

Now that you mention it no! (Which is stated i should indeed in the neo xy thread) (i will try that out soon!)

But i am also soft resettting for shiny starter @ alpha sapphire, and at some point it freezes too (after like 5 to 20 resets) any idea what that might be??

It's a bug with Neo X/Neo Y, I've read. Supposedly fixed by having more than one Pokémon or so in your team when you battle the gym leader.

Yea i can remember i have read it somewhere, i just totally forgot about it!

Will test it out as soon as i have found my private header (Deleted my template file with it T_T cant find it rip)
