tcm0 is right, but assuming there actually was a port of Wood (or you're getting another flashcard), or for anyone else reading:

which file system is best for it?
The one appropriate for the size of your microSD (SD or SDHC), unless you have picky homebrew

1- make save stats.
Enable soft reset and RTS, start game, press soft reset key combo (default is L+R+A+B+down) (those things can be set as default by pressing start > settings in the file list, or for individual games by pressing Y twice on them)

2- open cheat menu and activate and deactivate certain cheats.
There's no on-the-fly cheat menu, you set them before playing by enabling the cheat engine (again, from global or game's settings) and select the codes by pressing Y then X on a game

3- exit the game and use other game without exiting to 3DS menu.
same as (1) but you don't need the buggy RTS :)

4- change the save type of the game so i can use my old save files.
You can select the filenames between GAME.nds.sav and GAME.nds from the settings again, I don't know DSTWO but DSONE is directly compatible with Wood, if conversion is needed - http://www.shunyweb.info/convert.php

You can't get wood, but you can get ysmenu which is still pretty great. There's a thread about it somewhere here, I'll look for it.

Only the official kernel and ysmenu. I would suggest you to stay at the DSTWO.
The official kernel is shit (some of the features are buggy, timebomb etc).
YSMenu misses lots of features and looks like shit.
oh, i've download it from here
http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp

V1.84b

so, this is ysmenu?
i really want to stay at DStwo, but it sucking the battery like monster.

is there enhanced kernel?

i've read "how to install"
Backup your µSD to a Backup folder on your PC BEFORE upgrading to a new Kernel

Format your µSD with the Panasonic SD Formatter 3.1
Use these options :
FORMAT TYPE - FULL (OverWrite)
FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT - ON

DUAL BOOTING :
Download the latest Kernel from your carts website and extract to root of your µSD.
Extract these files from R4i-SDHC YSMenu folder and copy to root of your µSD :

Games folder
TTMenu folder
TTMenu.dat
YSMenu.nds

Boot your carts Kernel, then load YSMenu.nds.

how to i actually boot to cart kernel?

do you know what?
i am going to use @Technicmaster0 's advice
sure DStwo is power hungry, but it's menu is the easiest to use and the faster card to load the roms.

i tried the ys menu from the reddit link, it's not that good, the GW card is far better but it doesn't support save stats, but it least it fit on my 3DS very easy.

You should update the 360 to newest dash before RGHing it yes. But not a big deal if you don't, you can install new dash/avatar updates after. It's just easier to do it auto online before, instead manual offline after.

@BigOnYa I wanted to ask you about your experience with seeing south park. Most of the people a bit younger like my younger brother and cousins that are a few younger than me that saw kids found south park funny because of the curse words, kids at school, that seemed like liking the show on a very basic level.

I could not quite have a in depth discussion of the show.

How was it for you? As an adult. What did you find the most interesting part about it. Did you relate to the parents of the kids and their situations. Was it satires, the commentary on society. The references on celebrities' and pop culture.

I remember seeing the very first episode back in the day, and have watched every episode since. I used to set my VCR to record them even, shows how long ago.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just like any comedies really, and cartoons have always been a favorite of mine. Family guy, American Dad, Futurama, Cleveland Show, Simpsons - I like them all.

South Park is great cause they always touch on relavent issues going on today, and make something funny out of it.

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa were you always up to date on the current events and issues of the time or were there issues that you first found out thru south park
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Most of the time yea I knew, I watch and read the news regularly, but sometimes the Hollywood BS stuff, like concerning actors slip by me. I don't follow most Hollywood BS (example: the Kardasians)

  • S @ salazarcosplay:
@BigOnYa there were relevant issues before south park was made, that's why i think a south park prequel/spinoff would be great. Randy and his friends in their child hood

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, like them running in high school together, getting into stuff, and how they got hitched and had kids. And how the town of South Park was back then compared to now. That would be cool to see.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@salazarcosplay if they made a prequel, it would still be about current issues, cause it doesn't make sense to make it about stuff that happened 30 years ago that nobody cares about anymore
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's too late
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the older south park episodes about particular issues usually age poorly since the topic is no longer relevant
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
an exception is giant douche vs turd sandwich, that's always relevant :P
