Hacking Simple Action Replay to EZ Flash Omega .cht converter

Hey All! First time post here but just wanted to share with everyone a simple web app I put up for converting single-line, decrypted AR codes to the format needed for EZ-Flash Omega cheats. The EZ provided cheat library is pretty rough and I was looking for an easy way to convert AR codes found at https://gamehacking.org to the format needed for the omega .cht files.

The app doesn't do anything fancy like encrypting / decrypting to different formats, all it's doing is moving the values around on single-line ARMax codes so that they are easy to copy/paste into a .cht file. I'll keep adding to the app as well, a few features I'm working on now are:

• Multi-line codes - not really sure how they are structured in the .cht files so I have to dig around some more
• Exporting the inputted codes directly to a .cht file so the user can input codes, and then just get a complete file ready to go, rather than copy/paste
• Creating a DB of tested and ready to go .cht files that could be used as a replacement for the provided .cht files from EZ-Flash

Definitely! That's in the works as we speak. Just finishing up the multi-line support then I'll add functionality to save your .cht files to the site itself for anyone to download and use. I'm going to try and put an emphasis on tested cheats but for sure want user submitted files. I'll post updates here when I push them live!

Going to keep testing other codes that start with different values to see if they are compatible and will adapt the conversion process for those. Again if anyone has feature suggestions, insight on how the EZ-Flash treats memory locations, etc please hit me up!

Just a quick update:

Working on the converter 2.0 that will allow saving and maintaining a database of .cht files. Hoping to get some community and .cht revision tools in there to allow collaboration as well, stay tuned!

This is a big update, added basically a whole new app around the conversion functionality. I'll try and hit everything I pushed up:

• Added EZ-Flash provided cheat list to database. There is a lot of missing info, broken cheats, and wrong regions in there so it might not be worth even looking at but I figured it would be good to get something there from that list.
• Added login/signup so people can create accounts. Going to add the ability to favorite games later so you can find them faster. Currently you have to be logged in to add a game to the database. I did those mostly to weed out potential abusers but if people message me and say they want to be able to add games without signing up I'll get rid of that function. Also I 100% do not and will not sell any data, use creepy analytics, or use cookies. No tracking here! I also don't have any access whatsoever to passwords, it's all encrypted and stored somewhere in Googles cloud per normal compliance.
  
• Removed the requirements for codes to start a certain way, such as 002, 003, etc. Basically that means if you try one that doesn't start that way, it may work, it may not, but good luck all the same!!
• Added the initial converter in there, with the ability to create and download .cht files right away, no need to login or signup.
• The site is now a Progressive Web App! So you'll be able to download it and use it like a regular desktop or mobile app! Currently Chrome is the best for this functionality. If you're on Chrome you can find the install button on the right-hand side of your address bar. I've attached a screenshot showing what it looks like. You still need to have internet to access the database.
• Going to add a tutorial walking through how to convert, download, and add cheats to the EZ-Flash Omega. For now it's a blank page.
• Going to add a favorites list to the Profile page, currently there isn't anything there.

I'm sure I've missed something but it seems to be functioning well! As always if there are any problems with it or it breaks or anything please shoot me a message and I'll jump on it as quickly as I can. Also if you do create an account but forget your password, you'll have to message me directly here so I can fire off the password reset email manually, will be adding the password reset to the app soon!

Your converter did great job in translating Code Breaker to this Omega format - didn't test yet but at least it's translated for now - I was wondering however, one line was refused to be translated:

83004C4E 0000

Probably because of 0000 at the end.
If my math adds up this line won't be the end of the world for now but wanted you to know

My two questions are this if it's okay:
1) Can 23-lines of codes be put as one long cheat? (the converted translated it but just to make sure).
Well it will be 22-lines now without that one above.
I need this cheat because well... to put it lightly in safe area, E-Reader stuff didn't go outside of Japan too far (if any) so...

2) Is Master Code required? It's 2-lines of code, I guess the proper Code Breaker required it, some emulators probably required it as well, does Omega Flash require it as well?

EDIT #1 - Checked one long cheat as well as separating it one by one, tried enabling them all (as they consist one big cheat code) except Master Code, tried enabling just two last lines (as probably they are most important) but no matter what, I get File Error at booting I will check if maybe the file has to be somewhat specific in that aside of .cht extension.

A bit of a necro but I'm very interested in this, but I have such a basic understanding of cheat codes for the GBA, I'm not really even sure what I can use in this converter. Can you paste any Gameshark/Action Replay/Codebreaker code into it?
