Thank you brother, I don't know what is better, but you are right this thread is crowded with lots of repeated questions. so many people asking the exactly same.

As far I understand you, your proposal is create a new thread with the sigpatches and instructions about their installations, and leave this for further questions?

you could also crate one with your updated tesla addons it is pretty handy

nah not that sweet but @impeeza is updating a lot of outdated addons on himself and he is posting them somewhere in tesla thread i think. It will be sweet to post them on special dedicated thread for mortals to find. ;P this updates helped me at least 5 times so far.

I just wanted to thank you guys, especially @impeeza for all his redirecting, answering the same thing over and over again. If I did not directly thank you by name, seriously I should have, there were a lot of people also helping & I lost count. I just read like 10pages of this thread to really understand my update from CFW 16-18. GBAtemp is unlike any other forum i'm a part of. Its like the hay day of support forums back in the early 00's when you got your question answered and pointed at the exact thing you needed. I CAN NOT TELL YOU HOW RARE THAT IS NOW. I'm just in awe of this community, SERIOUSLY you guys have a lot of be proud of here. PLEASE KNOW YOU ARE ALL APPRECIATED for your participation and help of others!

I needed to update BOTH sig and sys after updating firmware and atmosphere, otherwise, a lot of games didn't work anymore (corrupted data message was showing, on a lot of them, not all). And it didn't fix not even after verifying those games, still corrupted. The only way to solve this was updating BOTH sig and sys.

yea and sometimes like in my case you need to update all tesla/addons even working one because something was blocking one game lol that something was probably in conflict with sys path

this is more than great but you should add your up to date revision of addons somewhere in there (ofc you will be not be always there but ppl will catch the drift i hope)

You don't need to remove the SD card, just boot into Hekate and connect a USB cable to the Switch so that you can overwrite AtmosphereNX files. Update AtmosphereNX first and boot in to it to make sure it's working. Then update hekate, install the latest Sys-patch and Sigpatches via ftp and reboot the switch. Job done.

For summary upgrading your firmware needs this steps:

• Remove any theme you have installed
• turn off switch and put your SD on your PC
• Backup your SDMC:/bootloader/hekate_ipl.ini
• update hekate FROM GITHUB (https://github.com/CTCaer/Hekate/releases)
• update atmosphére FROM GITHUB (https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases), and if needed edit hekate_ipl.ini (fuse-secondary.bin file now is called package3)
• update your payload injector to latest Hekate bin file.
• make a copy of the SDMC:/atmosphere/contents folder on your PC and delete it from SD.
• update your sigpatches. you can use the ones here on gbatemp (https://gbatemp.net/threads/sigpatches-for-atmosphere-hekate-fss0-fusee-package3.571543/)
• Install Sys-Patch Sysmodule (https://gbatemp.net/download/sys-patch-1-5-2-binary-fw-18-1-0-atmosphere-1-7-1.38686/)
• install THE LATEST VERSION (from github) OF any sysmodule you use, Tesla, Mission Control, ftp-light, emuiibo, etc.
• update any homebrew, if you use themes you need at least update nx-themeinstaller.
• copy the latest firmware you want to update to sd card.
• put your sd card on your switch turn on and use DAYBREAK to upgrade your switch.
• reboot
• reinstall your themes
• test all your homebrew and update if needed.
• reinstall any MODs and cheats for any game you use.

Give sys-patch a try if sigpatches aren't working for you? If your Tinfoil installation somehow started but failed, make sure to remove it as well, if you used the self-installer option (you remove it like any other game, either through data management or by pressing + over the Tinfoil tile if it exists).
