Introduction to the group:

Tales of ABCDE is an open source collaboration where people interested in working on or starting project can come together in an effort to translate games!

The server was created by the people behind the Tales of Destiny DC patch also known as "Life bottle Productions"

Introduction to the game:

Tales of VS. (テイルズ オブ バーサス, Teirusu Obu Bāsasu) (pronounced as "Tales of Versus") is a crossover fighting game featuring various characters across the Tales video game series. It was developed by Matrix Software and published by Namco Bandai Games for the PlayStation Portable on August 6, 2009 in Japan. It was not localized for release in any other regions.

Armed with the Knowledge of Anime (mainly I) and trusty people in our group we got a bit of text into it.

Menu is too!

Tales of Vs. Translation Project is currently looking for Translators.

We have the extracted texts and images and have reinserted translated lines! These are all available to be viewed at our Github Repo (Link is down under)

Over 4000 cells of menu text has already been inserted, out of 16000 cells of text. Which is no easy feat! Everything has been prepared!

If you wish to help us in our endeavour of translating and bringing this over to our fellow tales of connoisseur do drop by to our discord server:

Discord Link: Come and join us! We are looking for translators for our current and future projects! We are in the business of finishing what we started! We await your visit!

Tales of Vs. Github Repository: Do give it a bit of love! A star is always appreciated! (Endorsement solely by me, please don't be an pain in the buttocks)

Also checkout our other projects such as:

Thank you for all your fantastic work!!! I am ecstatic to see Tales of VS getting picked up, and even moreso to see such progress on Tales of Destiny DC and Tales of Innocence R.

http://harmful.cat-v.org/software/OO_programming/ <- OOP allows a generic build to scale approach to solve problems. And compatibility. In my experience an API/Shared Libraries by being encapsulated, is less likely to get optimized/destroyed by the compiler, specifically in embedded platforms.

No doubt it will be slower, but if you can and have the resources to hand-optimize away the code
    , do it.

If you dont bitch nothing will get done correctly

Also allows to separate pieces in components: Init, update, destroy, which enables the whole program to be inheritable. If you're creating a first person shooter, and want to add multiplayer, you will have to use OOP regardless.

I remember when you had to write your code exactly or things would just break instantly lol 48K was all you had on an Apple IIe and that was with added RAM ai think... Forgot so much over the years lol

yeah, psi gets it. Imagine building a 3D game and the compiler/linker breaks your code because you didn't order the data in a certain way

Yeah I dimly recall if your have the compiler set to optimize too agresively things can get crazy

Like setting it really high can work but sometimes requires rewrite of code and that's if the error spat out makes any sense
